Halloween 2012

We got him his costume a week before Halloween and he wore it that whole week. Every day!

Go Speed Racer! Go!

Eating his candy he told me, "Mama, go get the camera for this funny picture."

Lorenzo really loves boots. A lot. He has white ones, that he has recently been referring to as his Speed Racer boots. He has a pair of goloshes which he lovingly adorns when he wants to be Woody. When he goes to visit Grandma Julie and Grandpa Brad he likes to wear his "other one boots" so that when he gets there he can match them (they have cowboy/girl boots and he takes them upstairs to change their shoes if they don't have thier boots on when he gets there). He brings me my brown boots sometimes and asks me to wear them. And when we go anyplace, we put on our boots. But recently he found these up in my closet and decided to have a go with "Mama's big boots" (they have a heal), I lovingly call these my superhero boots. (I guess he had to get his love of boots from somewhere...) :D

Mt. Timp Caves

While Alicia (my wonderful sister-in-law) was visiting for a family wedding Lorenzo and I joined her and her family for a hike up to Timp Caves. We had an awesome time!

Lorenzo really liked all of the tunnels.

Lorenzo and Alicia were both doing this pose, but our camera is too delayed and he scampered off before I got it. But I do enjoy the bunny ears almost as much. :D

This made all the moms nervous, he was sitting right near the cliff.

He liked being so high up. :D

We could see our house... Well, at least where it was.

He hiked the whole way up on his own! --And took a couple of breaks.

In the caves.

+2 to the head injury list. He bumped his head onto a low hanging ledge. Then as I was holding him and comforting him, I ran him into a ledge. Sheesh, some comfort! Poor guy. He let Alicia hold him for a long time after I did that.
